Mental Health

Mental health describes your level of mental and emotional well-being and an absence of a mental disorder, your ability to enjoy life and maintain a balance between life activities, work and leisure.  It is a state of well-being in which you realise your own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and are able to make a contribution to your community.  Issues affecting mental health include anxiety, work-related stress, depression, and long-term unemployment.

Mind helps people take control of their mental health. They do this by providing high-quality information and advice, and campaigning to promote and protect good mental health for everyone.
