Sexual Health

Sexual Health is more than merely the absence of disease or dysfunction - it’s a state of physical, emotional, mental and social well-being related to sexuality.  Good sexual health requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships.

C Card
The Kent C Card scheme provides young people, aged 19 and under, with access to Free condoms in places other than clinics. The Living Well is a C Card Registration point and several staff within the centre are Access points.
C Card is about taking responsibility for your body, your relationships and for your future. C Card is about giving you options when it comes to sex and staying clear of sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancies.

C is for confidentiality
If you are 13-19 than a C Card is one way to access free condoms and sexual health advice.

Registering - Firstly you need to register for a C Card. Once you have done this you can get Free Condoms by visiting any condom Access or Registration point.  Registration for a card is free, easy and confidential and takes around 15 minutes to complete. You will not be asked for your name and address, just postcode and age. Once you have you C Card you can use it for 12 months or 20 times before you need to register for a new one.

Connexions offer a young persons Sexual Health Clinic every Thursday from 4-6pm.
Dartford West Health Centre every Monday 3.45-5.45pm.
